Jeep XJ Mechanics Out There?

Hey all,

Looking to pick up a Jeep XJ, and just wondering if anyone is interested in helping a slow and steady project. I'm not the most mechanically inclined but always willing to help and learn. I'm not even sure if this is allowed (sorry) on the board but if someone is looking for some extra holiday money, I'm happy to contribute. Looking to save a bit and not get too ripped off by mechanics, but also learning something along the way. I'm located in Nanaimo, I just moved to the area so I'm eager to get out there and explore!

Drop me a private message or respond here and we'll go from there.

Cheers & Happy Holidays,
Moose

Dont need to be mechanically inclined really unless you're doing engine work. It's just nuts and bolts. I dont have alot of free time...I barely have time to work on my own Jeep but would gladly help where I can or at the very least offer some guidance. I'm also in Nanaimo and own a Cherokee...it doesn't look much like a Cherokee anymore though.

I didn't come here with tools but will be scanning amazon, Canadian Tire, Home Depot etc. to keep an eye on some tools. I don't really have a garage, well not really, I don't haha. Renting an basement unit while we find something more permanent in the new year.

Good to know that maybe it won't be as difficult as I think? When I finalize the purchase I'll post pictures and go from there. I'm sure between you guys and YouTube I can get far enough.

Offer is always on the table though guys :)
