I don't know the mountain too well, but a lot of paths i had taken before were gated.. along with lots of other guys out that day saying the same thing once i got down to the quarry for a swim. Im sure you would have known a way up with the knowledge you have of the place, but for a newb like me i was SOL lol. Id be up for a another trip whenever you decide to go that way again.
