I drove in there a few times in my completely stock 4runner with bald all season tires. I drove around the gate on Mill Bay Rd near the Bamberton turnoff. I drove out onto Shawnigan lake Rd. Not sure it's still possible, My Tacoma would definitely get hung up on the hitch/bumper so I haven't tried in years.
Lift the drive train and flat belly it. Chop anything in the way of approach /departure angles. Stuff the biggest tire possible with stock height suspension. Add a rear locker and re-gear when you have spare $.
