From the picture, as I remember, there is a short cut through the bush to francis lake which you can see from the map...so yes water level recon mission would benefit. Has anyone here taken this route ?
Pachena bay is reservable, fills up quick.. francis lake looks interesting.. there at are lots of spots along the way.
Towed my trailer there 3 times, before the axel broke. No shit.
Been to pachena many many times.. interesting drive ... beach is awesome too..
Road to bamfield is interesting.. lots of hidden nooks and crannies.
