Hi all! I've just moved back to Victoria from Vancouver and brought my 2001 AWD CRV with me. I've had her for a year as I was looking for a cheap, fuel efficient daily driver that could also get me down some logging roads and to rec sites, and she hasn't disappointed! Right now I've got Toyo Celsius tires which I thought wouldn't do much for me on trails, but I've been shocked at how far they've taken me. All-terrains in the near future as soon as I find myself getting stopped by tire grip though!
Being able to get out deep into the forest and pop our rooftop tent has been incredible so far, and I'm excited to explore what Vancouver Island has to offer.
I'm keen to get out for a day of easy trails anywhere in the lower island area while we've still got the weather for it, but definitely need someone to show me where to look! I'm also keen on any recommendations for hikes/mountain biking spots at the end of some of the trails :)
