I used to struggle getting up that one too, until I got my rear locker in. It was the first place I went to test it out. Now I can stop right on the steepest part if I want and still make it up! You should add locker(s) to your list of future improvements if you haven't already - single best mod I've made to my truck, and fairly cheap!
Hey welcome to the site! I know that spot in your 5th picture, it's on the trail by hillcrest that connects to the powerlines right? I was just driving that yesterday.
I've been thinking about this more lately.. I'm thinking that I might set up some sort of generic email address @vioffroad.com that people can enter into their spot devices. I can then have any SPOT messages sent to that address posted here on the site automatically. That way anyone with a SPOT can simply add the address to their device once, and any calls for help that they send will be posted here as well. Once we get some real traffic to the site other members could head toward the beacon if they were near by.

That is pretty cool, though it looks like it has highly reduced front/rear ground clearance - how about this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5kMSoTDAz9s

Thanks for the link - Looks like there's some good information there!
