Lookin for some tires, hoping I can find a decent used set. (285/75R16) I believe that is 33 inches.

Been to a couple shops and was told that's kind of a tall order coz everyone wants that size, and as they're quite expensive new, guys tend to keep till they're bald.
I check usednanaimo, cowichan, and victoria everyday, but if anyone has a set they don't need, or come across one I would greatly appreciate the help.

I've got some 315/75R16 KM2s if you wanted to go up to a 35" - not sure if they'll fit though.

You can see some pics half way down the page here: http://www.vioffroad.com/forum/trail-runs/anybody-going-out-4x4-near-future (on my 4Runner). They've been wheeled, but have decent tread and great traction.

35" would be awesome, but just a bit too big. I've read on forums specific to Expos that 285/75 is the limit for a non-lifted truck.
I do appreciate the post though.

Not sure if these are still available.....and they may be a bit lower in tread than you want....

Good luck searching!

Yeah those are looking a little bare. If the rims would fit my truck I'd probably get them, but Ford really loved their weird bolt patterns (especially in the 90s) so not much fits.

Unfortunately I missed out on a set of BFG mud terrains for $100. Had to work a morning shift and they we one by noon :(

Thanks for the post though, just goes to show the tires and deals are out there, just gotta be quick to get em

^^^Um, you picked this site of all places to hawk virus infected online games?

Is nowhere safe?! Oh well, back to spamming Russians with all the igloo's I have for sale ;)

Well I did finally find the tires I was after.
Truck certainly does look more beastly with the wheel wells filled in with tire.

Looks good!

..wonder if you could pull off that black trim on the bottom of your bumper. Might give you some extra clearance up front?

Thanks Shane.

Yeah I've been meaning to check out what's underneath that plastic trim piece.
I'm sure if I don't pull it off, the ground on some hill will do it for me at some point :)

I like the look now that the running board is off, and the new meats! It's only a matter of inches when getting over obstacles :) Nice work.

I probably about 1.5 more inches of clearance with the bigger tires, and that little bit does make a difference. Went to some trails close to home today, there were always a couple spots where the belly would rub but not anymore :)
