Hey Guys!

Hi there! My name is Jen. I figure its about time i actually post something about my Beasty seeing as of 20 minutes ago.. ITS FINISHED!! Well, still need to get the GPS set up in but that cant happen till the parts come in. Other than that shes finished.... Hopefully.

This is my $350.00 truck... A '94 GMC Jimmy.. Good ole square body with all the goodies inside.. 4.3 Vortec and currently were in the works to find some solid axles and that will hopefully be our next summer project!

When we started on it, she had 4 flat tires, 5 different colors of paint, rats nests in all the wrong places, didn't run, had no papers and was assumed dead... My ex boyfriend told everyone he put water in the tank and ran it till it died. Well, My current boyfriend Justin, took on the hellish project with me 2 years ago.. and got er running in less than half an hour! And to this day he curses ever starting the thing.

We live in Sahtlam, so we are not far from the trails up here in Cowichan. Once we have done our test runs it would be great to meet some of you and go for a rip up the mountain!

Nice Jimmy. It reminds me of one I used to own. Same colour and engine. I think it's even the same year. Mine was bought in Courtenay and was an ex forestry truck and you could still faintly make out the ministry of forests logo on the doors. It would be quite a coincidence if it was the same truck. They are great little 4x4s. The votec V6 put out more than enough power.
