Hey,
I recently bought a hard top roof top tent that that exceeds the dynamic weight limit of my thule roof racks and my leer canopy, so I'm looking to replace the canopy with a bed rack.
I would make one out of unistrut, but I dont have the tools or space. I could also buy something from yakima, but they are $1200.
A company on the mainland will fabricate one for about $500, but I'm wondering if anyone knows anyone local to Vancouver island that can do the same thing?
This attached picture is pretty much exactly what I want.

Dan Rabey is a local fab guy from Duncan. He’s in the midst of making me some sliders but he can make most things. I got a hold of him through Facebook.
