First time poster long time forum reader, i tried getting up to mt franklin up the meade creek mainline and denied once again by a gate. Any suggestions on alternate routes up in these hills? Do these gates open once fire bans are lifted? Thx in advance
That area has been gated for years, and is actively logged. Unfortunately a lot of the backside of that ridge is being logged now as well, so lots of the good view spots are disappearing. Your best bet is to enter at hill 60 and follow the ridge up from there and see what you can find.
