Hey everyone,
I'm new to the island, and I've just picked up a 97 land cruiser that needs some tlc, but has good bones for building a reliable off road family vehicle. Apart from changing all the fluids and greasing moving parts, I'm going to need to replace the birfield joints, and buy a few more replacement parts. I'm in the Courtenay area (Union Bay) and was wondering about good suppliers and mechanics (if I need help) on the island? I look forward to exploring our area and experiencing some of the beautiful forests around here. Today we're off to the Snowden demonstration forest to search for some golden chanterelles. Hey sounds like you had a good day. I'm not sure about parts suppliers in Courtenay but you can always check online (ebay etc). I buy a lot online and it's often a lot quicker/cheaper than local.
Anyway, welcome to the site!
