93' 4Runner 3.0l engine and auto trans **SOLD**

Full engine and trans with related wiring/ecu/starter/driveshaft etc. Just pulled last weekend. The engine ran well and didn't give me any problems. The trans not so much, I don't know if it's just old or what but it seemed a little soggy and it would overheat sometimes (the trans, not the engine). Selling as a package. Engine/trans have ~240 km on them. Not sure of previous maintenance. Selling because I'm in the middle of a 3.4l manual swap. No clue what these are worth, so I'll start at $650 and see if there are any takers. It's all sitting in my garage ready to take away.

Also have some misc stuff I pulled out of the truck, ac system (minus the lines which I cut), beat up rad (no leaks), cruise control, vacuum/emissions crap, etc. All free basically if you come grab it, sitting out in the yard.

Lastly, I've got a safari snorkel and precut fender which I suppose I'll sell, unless someone can show me how to make it work with the 3.4l?

Thanks,
Shane

So I gather this engine wouldn't work with a stock manual transmission?

If you haven't sold this yet... I have a failing 1991 3zve with a 5spd manual... I'd be interested in buying this off you if the motor was reasonably compatible with that setup.

Hey sorry for the late response - the engine and related parts are all sold, sorry. If you've got the crappy 3.0l you should look for a 3.4l and do what I'm doing! My biggest problem so far is getting the damn pedals to work but you wouldn't have to do that if you've already got a 5 spd.

Thanks anyway. If I do end up looking at a 3.4L I'll for sure ask you about your experience.
