Afternoon Oliphant Lake Run Sunday 15th

Hey Everyone, Looking to try and get up to Oliphant Lake this weekend and play around up there.

Plan is to meet at 12:45 Serious Coffee Mill Bay

Run should be done sound 445-5 (returning to Serious coffee)

Not sure what we will encounter - I have a stock ranger tagging along but if it gets too rough he will hop in with me for the rest of the way (small lift and 33's).

Leaving somewhat decent time in the morning - I figure meeting at 845 at the timmies/ Gas station in Golstream isnt too early? Also I need to be back into town by Mt. Doug between 5:30 and 6

I've done that run a lot. You need a lift and tread. The Chemainus river is crossed by bridge so no problem there. I could guide it but busy Sunday until about 2 or 3 :(

Hey guys! So heres my plan, Im likely gonna be threre around 1230, with majority of people coming for 1245 (potentially large yota crew). I turned this into a spinoff of a toy run they were also conducting on the mainland, but for us who cant get to the mainland for the particular meet. I need to be back in town by 530, so unfortunatly cant wait until 3. There should be enough of us out there though that if you come late, you wouldnt have any problem finding us!!

Damn when did this happen haha? I thought it was only 2 of us! I'm not all that hardcore, with a dblb, so I hope these guys aren't too crazy! How many rigs?

I posted it up in BC Toyota pageas I also have a few friends off there - Got alot more responses and came to a conclusion it would be an island toy run in the spirit of the holidays coming up haha. No donations required, but figured this was a way we could give back and come together as an offroad community haha

So far I have had like only 2 solid confirmations from that group, but intrest is somewhere in the 30's... it will really depend. I'm 100% with you - I have no intention of going really hard haha If there is alot we will like go seporate ways to get there depending who wants to take what

Malahat

Hey guys,

Hopefully someone will see this! Live in the Malahat area and never heard of Oliphant till just a while ago. I've done a lot in the area, but just wondering which entrance you use to get up to Oliphant? Do you go in on the little trail off the highway or over the bank where the no trespassing and private property signs are on Doloume rd?

Am I completely off?

Cheers

so if your going from victoria to duncan, you turn left on frayne road where the serious coffee is. then you turn left right away on benko. after like 30 seconds driving ish you will see a gravel road on the right, its called deloume. the entrance to oliphant area is on that gravel road, on the left
