Yes that 8.25 you have will be a 29 spline with slightly larger axle tubes, so it will take a lot more to break....BUT it's still a c-clip. I'm not sure what's involved in the swap but I'm thinking it's pretty much a bolt on project, although you are going to need larger U-bolts for sure. Yes that's very real Shane, that's really the only way to keep the tire in place if you break an axle shaft.
