Get a copy of the back roads mapbook from just about any gas station or book shop. Check out areas around port Renfrew and lake cowichan. Loads of amazing stuff you can access in your truck. Keep checking around here, people will sometimes post a trail-run or meet up or camping trip and its a great way to meet other adventurers and learn some new areas
Looks like I'll be working on the truck today rather than out exploring. Got a leaking transfer case that I need to get to, and might as well tackle some of my wiring problems while I'm at it. Next time!

Won't make it to Sicker this weekend, doing Sooke instead. Would love to get out amd explore Sicker some more though. Great place and so accessible
