I've been to Moriarty Lake and Rhodo Lake before. Moriarty will still be snowy though, could be 6", could be 3', you just never know until you try.
I camped out next to Rowbotham Lake once too but wouldn't really recommend it. Technically that area is closed and the hardest part is just getting in, it's stock friendly to get to once you're in unless some roads have been "deactivated". I was literally devoured by deer flies over the course of 24hrs there.
After I go to and get back from the Okanagan in a few weeks I promised to take my buddy out for a weekend trip to Nanaimo Lakes or maybe Port Alberni to wheel and camp so I'll be in need of good ideas within my fuel range and capability.
Yeah we did go back and we poked around a bit more and ended up on Butler.
The Old Renfrew Road gate is locked and the upper road and bypass was quadruple double super trenched trapped beyond all recognition.
I did have this old track/route saved in my GPS that said "A Rd Bypass Rte" and I believe at one time it was supposed to get you around a particular gate but I didn't bother trying it because even if the route was still passable the exit would have made a longer drive home than going back the way we came.
Mega-trenching seems to be the norm for TPTB cutting off access to the back country areas nowadays.
They don't just put up a gate or a few boulders and a nice sign anymore when a road is decommissioned, they outright FUBAR it with trenches.
I was out a couple weeks ago and saw what they did to Old Renfrew Road. There's a series of four mega-trenches on the entrance that would be a worthy wartime defense against any land invasion force imaginable. I imagine we're going to be seeing a lot more of these "extreme closures" as the logging companies continue the race to log off the last of the economically viable second growth at an alarmingly unsustainable rate.
That loop trail has some branches off of it but they are all dead ends, it's sort-of a closed system once you hit that right side.
I have found and found out about a couple of things this year for sure, now that the Tracker is a bit better equipped to deal with what's back there.
Oh, and yes I did get in and explore that Tugwell block. The GF & I had a great day and found a really sweet place to camp, also ran in to a few wheelers heading to Tugwell Lake but I couldn't imagine how the trucks they were running could make it past that can opener and we didn't follow them to find out. There was one part we didn't get to explore that I was really looking forward to but we turned back when we could see heavy machines operating up the hill from us. Next time...

LOL! I swear there's a market now for fold-out bridge/ramp kits. Anyone remember the old ACoE instant bridge video? ;-)
