Wondering if anyone has a SWR meter for tuning CB radios, or know someone on the south island (ish) who has one? dont feel like buying one for like a one time use..

Yes i hav the extra cable 2 ft long so as not to mess with the readings much. A 5/8 wave antenna and a 18 foot coaxial cable was sipposed tgive you a complete wave length from what i recall of the top of my head.
perfect yea, i got a firestik FS II ( easy adjustable knob on top) 4 foot antenna, 18 ft of RG-8X cable, cobra WX ST II cb radio, and the mounting bracket with a heavy duty spring. Will just be missing wiring for grounding the mount/antenna, and wiring to connect to battery, ground and constant 12v. ill give you a shout when im ready for tuning!
