Hey Nick, I haven't been but you probably have to access it from Nanaimo Lakes (Nanaimo River Road) or wherever the gate is on the Cowichan side before fourth lake. Usually open on weekends, you can check Mosaic's website to see when the gates open and close.
Then I did some research which confirmed my weird Google maps directions that you can also enter from the Port Alberni area and take the Cameron Main in. Probably have to get in from "the hump" which may be gated and come all the way back south. There's always creative ways to get there too.
Looks pretty nice though if you can get there. Would be up to exploring it sometime.
