Just saw this now - can't make it out tonight either but if you're still stuck tomorrow afternoon I'll make the journey up, will need directions though!

mudmixer man volunteered to help me out in the early am. i wonder if itll start, being underwater all night. it was running when i left. im probably going to let it sit n dry for a couple days. i hope i can get out. i cant get a tow truck in there. im hopin pinkis skid pans stopped it from sinking. livin la vida loca!

i happened to take a pic of the road before i went in. it looks like good road. but just before that tree they took out the bridge. its a 2 to 4ft ditch 12 ft long. pinkis stuck near the end of the flooded area.

This would be a good time to invest in a come-along! I never go out without one (or a winch, on my 2nd gen).

Hope your truck fairs ok.

i sunk the truck. fuse blew on the winch. really couldn't get at the fuses. flooded. lol. had one shot before it died. it didnt budge. the mudmixer puled me out without a sweat. pinki started with a jump. the motor was sunk. water levels dropped over a foot overnight, and man was it cold this morning. thanks for all the call and offers. it was alot of fun. livin la vida loca! ill post pics when i have a chance.

I sunk my old 4runner once. Right up to the front of the hood. Didn't even try to start it, took it straight to a garage. It ran for another 500 km before throwing a rod and killing the motor. Put another motor in it for $500, drove it another 8 years.

it was a good test to see if pinki was worth putting a snorkel on. hes getting one now. im also getting a non powered winch. just in case. lol.

water went down almost a foot. there were no rapids before. lol. most of pinkis tail lights were under water when i left him sittin in blackjack creek, on the old bevin farm, the morning before.

in the end. the mud was like glue. some kind of fertile land we have. it is the old bevon farm. id be pissed if someone planted trees where i spent years of man hours removing stumps. so all up under my dash. thank god jeeps are water proof. lots of the rubber in the engine compartment is desintegrating already. starter died a week or so later. im so glad i got vinyl seats n no carpet. my ass was still wet a week later. keep on truckin.
