I went out to Oliphant last weekend with my full size truck, didn't have any problems though going around the lake was a bit tricky. I went past the power lines instead of going up them. Probably best to print off the gps map from google maps just to get an idea which way to go. Once I hit the lake, I ended up going around it to the right.
That's a good idea, though the stock filter for my truck is pretty huge so finding a way for it to fit back there will be tricky. Wonder if running sewer pipe before the filter would work instead.
Yeah I figured, the air intake on a v6 and v8 is the same for the 90's chevs, so it's just a matter of making sure the tube lines up. Was also considering running the intake into the cab, but I don't know if that would be pretty loud, or cause problems of its own.
