I think most snorkels are pretty similar in size - I would think if you can find something that fits the body of the truck alright it should be fine for the engine. If you want to be sure just measure the smallest part of your intake tubing and compare it with the snorkel. My snorkel has ~3-4" piping on it. If anything you might be getting more air in the engine than before as it acts as a short ram when you're moving.
^^ hah, definitely a first for me. I think I would have noticed it coming loose under normal circumstances, but I had broken the front axle on that side earlier in the day so I wasn't paying much attention to the noises/vibrations coming from under the truck. No clue how all 6 lug nuts found their way off though..
