Snow but no truck - Argg!

It's killing me watching all this snow and not being able to get out in it. My front wheel is shot and barely hanging on (check out that camber) and I can't find any local parts. Not to mention I don't really have a suitable spot to work on it at the moment.

What are you guys getting up to in the snow? Post some pics so I can live vicariously through you while I wait.

On a separate note, why is it so impossible to find a decent 1st gen Tacoma these days? I've been toying with the idea of buying a Tacoma but all I can find are 2nd and 3rd gens..

I'm going out tonight after work for a snow/night wheel, and probably again on Sunday. I'll try and get some pictures.

Honestly I'm not really sure what's wrong with it. In looking under there I can't see anything that's obviously broken - ball joints look fine, tie rods look fine, control arm bushings look fine.. what else is there? I'm guessing wheel bearing but I've never actually seen one get like that. Driving it is sketchy as hell, feels like the thing is going to come apart even at low speeds. Either way I'm thinking I'll just replace the whole knuckle if I can find one.

Yea the knuckles can bend on these runners, I'm always paranoid about it happening on a trail!
Check if this guy has a whole knuckle with ball joints, could be an easy swap to fix. Good luck!
