Usually is by now. Unfortunately people go up mon tues wed set up camp or a tent pay for a week then leave till the weekend....then they have a secured spot for the weekend. Especially a long weekend
Hey man, I went up Canada Day last year and it wasn't busy. This year though, anything could happen haha. The water is beautiful though and there are a decent amount of sites at Words, not all waterfront though. No off-roading required to get in either.
The good news is there's tons of lakes and rec sites around the area that are also really nice. Vernon, Schoen, or Tahsis, Zeballos, you can't go wrong up there.
Definitely an area I'd like to explore more of, let us know what you find!
