Back Home

Afternoon Group. Myself and my family have recently moved back home to the Island to our old stomping grounds where we were raised. The island sure has changed and grown since we left 15 years ago.Feels great to be back . Now for my introduction, we are 2003 and 2008 Rubicons ones heavy modified and others fairly stock. And both needing out of province inspections . Question is where’s a good place to get this done so we can get on the road and trails.

Stay safe.

When I moved here I asked around and everyone just said go to canadian tire. I tried to toss a local shop a couple hundred dollars to look past my window tint and they refused. Shops risk losing their license, so nobody is willing to go easy on the inspection.

Best of luck and welcome back.

I went to the canadian tire in Duncan and they were good. I know the owners son through hockey though.

I took mine to Dickson & Fraser in Duncan. Excellent shop. Welcome back to the island!

Can also vouch for Dickson & Fraser in Duncan.
I work at the Honda dealer here in Duncan and we also do BC inspections, but modified Jeeps aren't exactly our specialty lol.
Don't know the Comox area well enough to know the local shops there, but there's always Canadian Tire in Courtenay
