Checkin' in!

Hey guys & gals,

Just wanted to introduce myself! I'm a husband, father of 3 daughters, I live in Nanaimo where I work for a tug/barge company. I've just recently stumbled across another Samurai and had to have it. This is the second one Ive owned and I can't tell you how much I love these tough little bastards. The list of upgrades and "what I'd like to do's" is constantly growing. It's rekindled my love for wheelin' again and I'm anxious to getting out with some of you fine folks where and when I can. Thanks for having me here and I look forward to reading and contributing to the forum.

Cheers!!

Anthony

That is a nice, clean samurai! Not many of those left to find.

Has it had any mods? Plans to mod?

There's been quite a bit of work done to the body and floor boards but atleast there aren't any holes! It's pretty clean over all. Once I get that first major dent in it though, poor thing is gonna have a rough life after that lol

I'd love to get together for a mission or two BM. Looking forward to meeting more folks to head out with once in awhile. I'll be messaging you soon.

When I bought it, it came with a SPOA lift with extended shackles, custom built bumpers, dual batteries and a 4000 lb winch. It's just a 1.3 with a Weber carb that's causing me issues. My next step is to do a 1.6 swap, GM alternator upgrade and a YJ spring kit and front locker. I'd like to keep it somewhat simple so I can still drive it as my daily but conquer some moderate wheelin at the same time.
