Trail radio setups?

Hey everyone! Just looking to hear what people are running on the Island for vehicle to vehicle communication?
I’d also like to hear opinions/experiences and recommendations on some of the different setups handheld and truck mounted.
Looking forward to hearing what works and what doesn’t!

Cheers!

Adrian

Gunna be purchasing 3 gmrs handhelds to keep with just cuz they have quite a bit more range and can often find a weather tower to let u know of any storms or emergencies coming in. Few good ones on Amazon

GMRS seems like the simplest choice. Portal, cheap, common. Easy to pick up a replacement at any Walmart on the road, and many people already have them collecting dust in a drawer.

Then again, I don’t really know the technical pros/cons of each option.

Awesome! Thanks guys! The more options to look into the better! I like the thought of the GMRS handhelds. Seem like good bang for the buck.
