Anybody know where this beach is?

Hey guys, I'm heading up to San Josef Bay and Port Alice next weekend in the Jeep, and I just saw this video of a sweet beach up that direction. Not sure what it's called or how to get there. Will be looking in the BRMP as well but though I'd reach out here, too. Thanks!

Edit: deleted the link to the video. Not convinced this thread has any impact on driving traffic to the video or the number of people visiting the beach, but since people seem upset about it I deleted it.

Do your research. ...better not post on here if you actually find it thou

This is what doing my research looks like, bud. I asked, and someone pm'd me the answer within about an hour.

Pointless comment since you made a post this summer that's nearly identical.

I remember when I first moved to this island in 2006 and being completely dumbfounded at the secrecy behind the 4x4 trail locations.

Totally. It can be frustrating at times. But I’ve also seen the places that become widely used, and they get absolutely trashed. Mt. Sicker comes to mind. Can’t go through there without seeing piles of trash, beer cans, shotgun shells, and you’re lucky if you get home without a nail in your tire from all the pallet burning.

So, I see both sides for sure. In my experience, this forum has been great for sharing some spots publicly, and creating a platform to connect with people directly to get info about the more protected areas.

Hey Samsquanch, did you make it? Would love to see pictures if you have any!

Hey Goose, I haven't gone yet. The weather was terrible the weekend I wanted to go so I went to Powell River instead. Found some cool spots around Goat Lake and Savory Island. Definitely worth the trip.

Glad you made it somewhere, that side would be cool to explore. Nice thing is you can always explore around Vancouver Island.

sorry, that was my bad, it was pointless especially since the location is posted in the comments....be great if you removed it from here thanks!
Also i was asking in general not about a specific place but thanks for looking!

What are you talking about? The link is to a thread you created. If you want it gone, you can delete it.

Access to this beach will be blocked within the next 2 years. It's very remote, but somehow idiots from the mainland keep finding it.

Yeah, it's a real shame. Annoys me when a ton of people descend on the latest Instagram famous spot.

It's pretty funny running into "influencers" in the wild. They seem to enjoy sharing cool pictures more than the actual activity itself.

These cringy youtubers from Ontario were just there and made a video about it. "Epic family road trip". I haven't watched their channel, but it looks like a family of bible thumpers touring around with their grown children in overland jeeps.

These idiots have driven across the whole country during covid times, then came to our island, hit up tofino and then all the way up island.

This is why Lance was asking to take this down. Sharing places publicly is how these kinds of places get ruined. There's nothing wrong with asking for directions and suggestions, just don't post place names publicly.

Hey all, sorry to bring this thread back I would ever be o so greatful for some generic insight. For months now I've been searching google maps for sat views and on brmb trying to find it but I'll admit defeat considering I don't even know the generic area of where it is this could take a while. I'd love any info you have info on the classic beach VI spot with those small falls and boulder covered beach. If you know about it I'm sure you know where I'm talking about. I'm a Nanaimo local and would gladly do a run out there with anyone if they prefer meet and greet before trail sharing any info given would be safe with me.
*please pm if you want info not shared public*
Cheers thanks all.
